OnSunday 8 February, our RAPS athletes took part in the Diving Queensland Community Cup — a recreational-focused competitive diving series that brings clubs together for fun, development and competition in a supportive environment.
We had an awesome turnout with 8 divers, proudly supported by Coach Millie, and it was fantastic to see so many great performances across the day.
Congratulations to our 5 divers who placed on the podium — a brilliant achievement and a great reward for their hard work. Even more special were the efforts of Ella, Isla, Lauren, Amelia and Sophie, who all competed in their very first competition! Your courage and determination were inspiring to watch, and we’re so proud of you.
The Community Cup is all about growth, experience and fun in the sport of diving, and watching our athletes take on the challenge with enthusiasm and skill was a real highlight. We can’t wait to see what the next round brings!
Well done to everyone who competed — go RAPS!
